The Florida Panthers have fired their head coach Peter DeBoer after a three year stint.
The Panthers failed to make the post-season during DeBoer's three year run. ''I've never been fired before,'' DeBoer said with a laugh. ''Strange feeling.'' The Panthers will not be renewing the contracts of assistant coach Jim Hulton and video coach Jamie Pringle
