Jonathan Marchessault - W - Golden Knights
Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports has confirmed that forward Jonathan Marchessault has signed a new six-year deal worth $30million.
The 27-year-old forward currently leads the Golden Knights in points with 37 in 35 games. It's incredible to think that three teams had Marchessault before Vegas. Columbus decided to trade him for Dana Tyrell and Matt Taormina, Tampa Bay didn't want to pay him $750,000 and Florida let him go to Vegas in the expansion draft. Marchessault ends up getting the last laugh and is a key piece that has the Golden Knights first in the Western Conference at the half way point of the season.
