Paul Byron got a chance to practice on a line with Alex Tanguay.
Byron is getting plenty of opportunities to make the Flames squad after an impressive showing in the team's development camp. Calgary acquired Byron and Chris Butler from Buffalo in the off-season in exchange for Robyn Regehr and Ales Kotalik.
